Our experience at Big Brothers was fair, we also hit up A1 and it was nothing spectacular and most of the titles were thinned out, when we did check out the new store in Folsom. We liked seeing the Starwars gang, they were interactive and fun. We were greeted when we came in and not only was there still a very nice selection of comics, but we were able to also take in free pizza and cookies. I also think that there could be a better way of displaying trade and graphic novels, but if you consider the space per $$ a retailer pays for real-estate, you might change your view , of if and when you get your own store you might see the other side. We have re-visited the comic book stores after FCBD and found that the 1 person staff at GamersCircle is more welcoming and I like hearing, "good after noon Paul" when I walk in and have my comic pulls handed to me as I walk by.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
